Mistia holds a Bachelor of Arts in theatre from California State University, Long Beach and returned for her Masters in Dance from California State University, Los Angeles along with a teaching credential in English and Physical Education. Since 2001, Mistia & her husband Matthew, have produced magic, Illusion and aerial acrobatic headline entertainment for cruise ships and corporate clients worldwide.

Their company FallonMagic, Inc. toured nearly 45 countries with their production of “Mastering the Mystery”, a combination of magic, illusion and aerial acrobatics. Mistia has been teaching aerial dance since 2002 and has taught professional dancers and cruise line production casts. Contracted as an aerial specialist onboard Celebrity cruise lines for show installations and sat on cast auditioning panels. She has developed headline aerial entertainers, coached young gymnast/aerialists and trained mothers who simply aspire to getting their pre-baby bodies back! (Mistia is also yoga certified with an emphasis on pre-natal yoga) Mistia believes aerial dance is not just for professional movers, but for anyone with passion who wants to break through the limitations of conventional dance and fitness.
In February of 2017, Mistia branded the Dragonfly Aerial Company making it available as a premier safety focused licensing program for athletic facilities nationwide. Dragonfly was registered with the USAG and is a professional members of American Circus Educators and American Youth Circus. Mistia has launched 13 Dragonfly programs nationwide since 2017. Mistia and Matthew are currently working on building a new Dragonfly building at 5580 Woodmen Rd where we can accommodate our own audience for live performance, with future plans to house an indoor flying trapeze, and create a centrally located national auditioning and production rehearsal hub for the cruise line and corporate entertainment industry.
