Handbalancing & Flexibility

In the hand balancing portions of the class, we build balance and strength for solid, aligned handstands on the floor and on canes. We also work towards the hand balancing skills that you decide to focus on like presses, overarches (sometimes called contortion handstands), and one arm handstands.

In the flexibility portions of the class, we focus on strength, core engagement, and active flexibility to increase mobility safely and at your own pace. You will work towards goals of your choosing, which can range from getting your splits for the first time to working on advanced flexibility skills like chest stands and needles.
